Terms of Use

By using VastuBox, you agree that the service is provided for personal, educational, and informational use only. VastuBox helps users understand floor-plan geometry, directional alignment, center-point placement, angles, and room or fixture locations. It does not provide professional Vastu consultation, architecture, engineering, surveying, legal, financial, medical, or religious advice.

You may use the service to review your own layouts, learn from the output, and save your results to your account. You may not resell the service, white-label it, present the software output as your own paid advisory product, or use the platform to provide commercial consulting or rectification services to third parties without written permission.

You retain ownership of the floor plans, map screenshots, annotations, and other materials you upload. By uploading them, you grant VastuBox a limited license to store, process, display, and transform that content only as needed to operate the service and return results to you.

You remain fully responsible for any renovations, purchases, construction changes, design decisions, property decisions, business actions, or other real-world decisions made using information from VastuBox.

We may update the service, pricing, credit model, retention policy, or these legal terms over time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Privacy

To operate the service, we may store uploaded floor plans, map screenshots, addresses, review state, billing records, and generated results so signed-in users can resume work and access account history. Our current target retention period is up to 12 months unless a shorter period is required for operational, legal, or security reasons.

You should not upload payment card numbers, government identification records, health records, or other unrelated sensitive personal information. Floor plans and address details may still be sensitive, so you should protect your account credentials and access only accounts you own or are authorized to use.

If you upload copyrighted, proprietary, confidential, or third-party materials, you are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to use them with the service. VastuBox is not responsible for disputes between you and any third party over ownership, copyright, confidentiality, or permission to use uploaded documents.

We use third-party infrastructure providers, including cloud hosting and payment providers, to operate the service. Payment card information is handled by Stripe, not stored directly by VastuBox.

Educational Disclaimer

VastuBox does not offer Vastu consultation, remedies, rectification plans, temple guidance, astrological guidance, or guarantees of spiritual, financial, health, relationship, business, or real-estate outcomes. The service provides software-based location and geometry tools plus general educational references only.

Outputs may be incomplete, approximate, dependent on upload quality, dependent on user-selected points, or affected by OCR and orientation assumptions. Users should independently evaluate all output and, where appropriate, consult qualified professionals before relying on it.

Nothing on VastuBox should be interpreted as a promise, certification, expert endorsement, or substitute for professional judgment.

Acceptable Use

You may not use VastuBox to misrepresent yourself as a qualified consultant, create a competing advisory service using our output as your deliverable, scrape or automate the site beyond permitted use, upload content you do not have the right to use, or attempt to bypass pricing, account, or technical restrictions.

You must not upload content that infringes copyright, violates confidentiality obligations, invades privacy rights, or otherwise violates the rights of any third party. If uploaded material appears unauthorized or unlawful, we may remove it, disable access to it, or suspend the associated account.

You may not use the service to infringe intellectual property rights, violate privacy rights, upload malicious content, or interfere with the platform’s stability or security.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access for abuse, fraud, chargeback abuse, repeated policy violations, suspicious automation, or attempts to reverse engineer or misuse the platform.

Liability and Responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VastuBox is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free output, suitability for a particular purpose, or any specific practical or spiritual result.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VastuBox and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or business-related damages arising from your use of the service, your inability to use the service, or actions taken in reliance on software output.

If you use the service in violation of these terms or in a way that harms others, you are responsible for those actions and any resulting claims to the extent permitted by law.

Practical Note

This page is intended to make the product scope and restrictions clear. It is a solid operational baseline, but it is not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction. For a production launch, you should still have a lawyer review your final Terms and Privacy policy.
